WEDDINGS AND CEREMONIES
Firstly congratulations on your upcoming celebration and thank you for looking at Court Lodge Orlestone as a potential venue.
Court Lodge offers a beautiful setting for you to plan every detail as you wish. As we live in the property our approach is to create a seamless celebration of your dreams minus the stress. You may wish to celebrate your entire day here or perhaps use the gardens just for your reception.
Wedding ceremonies can take place at St Mary’s Orlestone overlooking Court Lodge or a celebrant ceremony can take place in the grounds.
THE SURROUNDINGS
Court Lodge is located in the idyllic private hamlet of Orlestone. Court Lodge offers two large bedrooms where the wedding party on the day can pamper themselves prior to the celebration. The beamed medieval bedrooms, sitting room and halls can be used for pre wedding photographs.
Parking in the grass paddock from May to October is for approximately 60 cars with potential rustic glamping around the ancient pond if required. A short walk pasted the Norman church of St Marys Orlestone and you reach Court Lodge.
Wedding ceremonies can take place at St Mary’s Orlestone overlooking Court Lodge or a celebrant ceremony can take place in the grounds.
YOUR BIG DAY
We offer a bespoke wedding service creating a day for you both to remember, with this in mind we only accommodate one booking a week so you and your guests receive exclusive use of the house and grounds. You will have access to the venue the day before allowing you to decorate and rehearse or we can help with our prop suppliers and florists and access the following day for clearing up and removal of your props.
THE GARDENS
The romantic gardens offer three tiered lawns divided by roses and lavender. Each lawn can accommodate marquees, pole tents, tipis or yurts. The lawns can be used for open air receptions leading to a covered setting with bar, dance floor, entertainment areas and tables for up to 120 guests.
YOUR CELEBRATION
If you desire cream teas, boxed or bowl food, grazing tables, hog roasts, barbeque or a more formal sit down meal we can assist with our many preferred caterers or you may want to provide your own.
PHOTOGRAPHS
The gardens lend themselves perfectly to creating magical memories in the formal and more rustic areas. There are two ancient ponds and the paddock leads onto open fields over looking the Romney March.
ENTERTAINMENT
Live music always adds fun to any celebration however we ask that entertainment stops at midnight and carriages shortly after.

The venue including parking, use of bedrooms and garden is £4000.
This allows access to the venue the day before if you want to dress marquee, your celebration day and finally the day after to remove and break down.
Marquee, food, drink, entertainment ect are all priced separately
I have attached some of our preferred suppliers who will create unique and personalised menus catering for all budgets and expectations. Many of the caterers include crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment and staffing.
Please call directly to obtain pricing or we at Court Lodge can liaise for you. If you would like to use your own suppliers we do not mind, however they will need a site visit prior to the set up date.
